Amazon Echo Show Devices Experience Massive Data Spike Due to Caching Bug

In a recent incident, Amazon's Echo Show smart displays were found to be unexpectedly devouring significant amounts of internet data. This anomaly was brought to public attention by Dave W. Plummer, a former Microsoft engineer, who observed his two Echo Show units consuming a staggering 4GB of data in less than 24 hours.
