They emphasized that this partnership transcends political pressures or shifts in manufacturing locations. Instead, the core objective is to strategically challenge AMD's established market presence in key areas of chip technology.
Clarifying the Partnership's Core Intentions
Nvidia’s leadership explicitly stated that the new alliance is not a consequence of governmental influence, nor does it signify a departure from Nvidia's ongoing commitment to the Arm architecture or its foundry relationship with TSMC. Huang reaffirmed robust plans for Arm-based products and lauded TSMC's manufacturing excellence. The focus, rather, is on a targeted competitive strategy.
Challenging AMD's Integrated Chip Dominance

AMD has long been a formidable competitor to both Intel (in CPUs) and Nvidia (in GPUs) by excelling at integrating both functionalities into a single chip.
