In 2022, the architectural firm Peris+Toral.arquitectes unveiled the "Social Atrium," a substantial social housing complex situated in the lively Besòs district of Barcelona, Spain. This project, covering an area of 6140 square meters, was meticulously designed to provide 54 modern social rental units, complemented by a versatile public facility on the ground floor and an intelligently planned, naturally ventilated parking garage beneath. Architects Marta Peris, José Toral, and Jaime Pastor spearheaded the design, demonstrating a commitment to innovative residential solutions. The building's distinctive massing strategy arranges four units per landing across six tower floors, while the first four levels feature eight units per floor, connected by a central walkway.
